Job Summary
Calder Capital is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Sell-Side Managing Director. This role is crucial to ensuring the Managing Director’s time is optimized, communications are handled effectively, and team operations run seamlessly.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced M&A environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and exercises the highest level of discretion with sensitive information.
Responsibilities
- Email & Calendar Management: Manage inbox, prioritize messages, and schedule meetings, calls, and travel.
- Research Support: Conduct industry and company research, summarize findings, and track market trends.
- Data Organization: Update CRM records, clean up data, and ensure accuracy in deal tracking systems.
- Meeting Prep & Follow-Up: Prepare agendas and materials, take notes when needed, and track action items.
- Travel & Events: Coordinate travel arrangements, client meetings, and networking events.
- Client & Team Recognition: Organize gifts for clients, partners, and colleagues for special occasions.
- Social Media Support: Draft and schedule posts, track engagement, and align messaging with firm priorities.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years proven experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or similar role.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs and work independently.
- Interest or background in finance, business, or M&A preferred but not required.
